My Birthday Celebration Concert

At Home Get Down

There are moments in life that are unforgettable. Sometimes you don't realize until much later, possibly years or decades; but once in a while you really just know right away that the event you're preparing for will be totally incredible no matter how it unfolded.

For a little while now I'd been wanting to put on a real "concert" in my apartment. I'm fortunate to have a great space where I was certain it would work well. It finally became a reality on Saturday, December 15th -- a birthday and holiday celebration. 3 solo performing acts; Quinn, Myra-Kate Vallianos & Nick Marcotte (with Peace) to start an then our band, Melodic Jones to close the night. The music, of course, continued until the wee hours of the morning (5am!). The people were great, the drinks were plentiful and I could not have had a better birthday ... the best birthday ever in fact!
