Dr. Dog & Apollo Sunshine

The anticipation was high and the day was long. I was very psyched to see two very incredible bands. I've seen Apollo Sunshine (official site) a few times, but only experienced Dr. Dog (official site) once at Bonnaroo this year.

So I was very much looking forward to Dr. Dog's set because their albums easily have been the most spun on my play lists recently. Their music seems like a mix of The Beatles, Beach Boys, The Band with a twist of some new indie rock arrangements.

These guys definitely know what their doing and I strongly believe that their success will continue to grow. They have a very strong stage presence and really have a LOT of fun on stage. Bouncing around and dancing a lot. Dramatic movements and incredible dynamics. Their harmonies are so well rehearsed that you might have thought the Beach Boys were on stage at certain moments!
